Day 1 — Monday 5th July Pick up in Leicester and travel to the Shuttle at Folkestone for the journey to France. Visit the battlefield areas around Dunkirk & Wormout before travelling on to the Hotel for check-in Day 2 — Tuesday 6th July Travel To The Ypres area to visit: · Lissjenthoek Cemetery · Poperinge with time to visit the Toc H “Talbot House” and the “Firing Post” - see where our own troops were executed. · Langemark German Cemetery · Tyne Cot & The Menin Road · “Last Post Ceremony” at 8pm At The Menin Gate Day 3 — Wednesday 7th July Travel To Arras area to visit: · Notre Damme De Lorette & Museum · Vimy Ridge Tunnels · Cabaret Rouge Cemetery · Pont Du Jour Areas · Arras rear areas—Hospitals & Medical Services Day 4 — Thursday 8th July Visit the Somme area to visit: · Gommecourt area · Serre Area walk · Ulster Tower with a guided tour Of Thiepval Wood · Thiepval Memorial · The famous “Tommy’s Bar” Café (subject to being open) · Delville Wood · Quarry Cemetery at Montauban · Mansell Copse
Day 5 — Friday 9th July Free time for shopping and onward journey to Calais for the homeward Shuttle.
